This weekend in Brooklyn was highlighted by the annual AfroPunk Festival, where hundreds of thousands of folks made their pilgrimage to Brooklyn's Commodore Barry Park to partake in the culture and celebration of Black people across various art forms and disciplines. Through music, fashion, art and activism among others, this weekend continues the ever-powerful tradition of bringing people together to celebrate the journey of life that we are all on.
